Speed limit reduction ‘example of government’s regional neglect’

REGIONS FORGOTTEN: Liberal candidate for MacKillop Nick McBride has condemned the State Government’s decision to drop the speed limit to 100kph from 110kph on eight of the state’s regional roads.

THE speed limit drop on eight regional roads is a further example of the State Government neglecting the regions, Liberal candidate for MacKillop Nick McBride has said.

Mr McBride condemned the decision to drop the speed limit to 100kph from 110kph on roads, including Clay Wells Road, adding that lowering the speed limit alone would not reduce the road toll.
